Method
The engine sums user-entered rectangular patio areas, divides by selected paver coverage, applies the selected cutting allowance, and rounds whole pavers upward. Optional package, base, and bedding quantities are calculated only from coverage or depths you provide.
Worked example
The starting worksheet has 120 ft² of patio. A 12 in × 12 in paver covers 1 ft², so the base quantity is 120 pavers. The selected 10% allowance is shown before the whole-paver order quantity.
