Method
The engine divides measured wall length and height by the user-entered block face dimensions, rounds rows and blocks upward, applies the selected allowance, and rounds whole purchasing units upward. Caps and base material are included only when their product coverage or dimensions are entered.
Worked example
The starting worksheet divides a 24 ft wall by an 18 in block face to get 16 blocks per row. Dividing the 3 ft wall height by the 6 in face height gives 6 rows, then the selected allowance is shown before the whole-block purchase quantity.
