Method
The engine calculates rectangular wall area, deducts entered openings, optionally adds a rectangular ceiling, divides by the selected sheet coverage, applies the selected allowance, then rounds upward to whole sheets.
Worked example
A 12 ft by 10 ft room with 8 ft walls has 352 ft² of wall area. Deducting a 3 ft by 7 ft opening leaves 331 ft². A 10% allowance turns that into 12 whole 4 ft by 8 ft sheets to purchase.
